SMART

The high-resolution interactive LCD dash display on the SEC20-3 allows operators to stay constantly informed about the truck’s performance. New ZAPI ACE3 controllers allow for advanced control and communication. Three selectable performance modes, along with a turtle mode feature, allows for greater flexibility and customization per application.

STRONG

With the SEC20-35, durability and reliability are never in question. With a capacity range up to 7,000 pounds—a CLARK first for electric four-wheel trucks—and key components designed to withstand full capacity, the SEC20-35 can tackle any challenge in its path. The rear-hinging hood provides durability and allows for easy service, and the thick, durable front fenders provide strength to the frame of the truck. The steel sump tank dissipates heat faster, prolonging hydraulic oil life, ensuring your SEC20-35 is Built to Last for years to come.

SAFE

Safety is a cornerstone of all CLARK products, and the SEC20-35 is no exception. The integrated Dampening Block Stability increases stability and durability in the lift truck. The standard Performance Enhancement Package utilizes a cutback switch on the mast, reducing tilt and travel speeds when the forks are fully loaded and lowered, improving operator and pedestrian safety. Additional optional safety equipment includes load weight indicator, seatbelt interlock, and more!

ADVANCED ERGONOMICS

The ergonomically designed operator compartment promotes greater operator comfort and efficiency, with a spacious floorboard, small steering wheel diameter, hood-mounted levers, cowl-mounted SMART dash, and comfortable full-suspension vinyl seat. The accelerator and brake pedals are also optimally positioned for smooth transitions, reducing operator fatigue.

The welded heavy gauge frame provides lasting strength and consistency in the operation of the truck. Advanced electric steering on the SE15-25T minimizes operator fatigue and increases efficiency. Powerful 36V and 48V batteries provide a higher battery output efficiency than ever before. The Zapi ACE-2 new generation of controllers allows the operator to have greater insight on life cycles. And, with 11 configurations availble, this truck is sure to fit your needs. 

STRONG

Today’s working environments demand a STRONG lift truck, and the SE15-25T provides reliable strength through several key design features. The full welded, heavy gauge frame provides a strong, stable base for the lift truck, while the all-new staggered nested I-beam upright provides the strength and reliability you count on when lifting heavy loads. With an integral side-shifting carriage, the SE15-25T retains all of its capacity to 188”.

SAFE

The ergonomically designed operator compartment promotes greater operator comfort and efficiency, as fatigued operators are more likely to make a costly mistake. The self-activating parking brake automatically engages when the operator leaves the seat, preventing the forklift from rolling forward or backward. The integrated speed-limit control when turning helps provide additional stability to the truck, and the optional rear-view camera displays crisply on the dash display, giving operators greater visibility when moving in reverse.

ADVANCED ERGONOMICS

Adjustable full-suspension seat, low step height with grab bar handle, and spacious operator compartment provide a more comfortable experience for the operator. ADVANCED COMPONENTRY

The interactive Smart Dash allows operators to have greater control and understanding of the lift truck’s operation, with audible and visible warnings and password protection allowing operators to make changes directly on the dash. The SE15-25T also comes standard with three performance modes to accommodate your application: Economy, Standard, and Power mode. And, with direct integration with several pieces of optional equipment, the Smart Dash puts the control of your lift truck at your operators’ fingertips.

LOW COST OF OWNERSHIP

The fully enclosed drive, lift, and steer motors prevent dirt and debris from entering the engine, reducing downtime, and leading to lower maintenance costs and a higher ROI. The all-electric braking system has no brake pads to wear down or fluids to check or leak. The electric steering allows for less overall energy consumption, leading to longer battery life. And, the electro-mechanical parking brakes, drive motors, and drive axles can be serviced without removing the upright, allowing for quick service.

Building on the success of it’s S-Series internal combustion models, CLARK Material Handling will soon ad to the line-up it’s first S-Series Electric model.

The SE15-25T 3-Wheel model will complement the internal combustion models with many of the features that make the S-Series line-up SMART, STRONG and SAFE.

The SE15-25T, with capacities up to 5,000lbs. electric will be built at CLARK’s Lexington, KY manufacturing facility and a few of the advancements will include:

CLARK S-Series Nominated for IFOY 2019

CLARK IFOY 2019Ismaning near Munich, 14.1.2019. The finalists for this year’s IFOY AWARD (International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year) are nominated. From the pool of applicants for the seventh round of the world-renowned award the jury will send 15 products and solutions from a dozen manufacturers into the race for the best products and solutions of the year.

The competition will soon enter its second round: The finalists have to undergo the IFOY audit at the international IFOY TEST DAYS at the beginning of March at the IFOY partner CeMAT’s exhibition grounds in Hannover (Germany). In the IFOY Test experts measure the key figures of the finalists in a standardized procedure. In the IFOY Innovation Check renowned scientist assess the innovation value of the nominated products and solutions. This is carried out by specialists from the Dortmund Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML), the Chair for Technical Logistics at the University of Dresden, the Chair for Materials Handling, Material Flow and Logistics (fml) at the Technical University of Munich and the Chair for Machine Elements and Technical Logistics at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg.

As a highlight of the IFOY TEST DAYS jurors from all over Europe, Australia, Brazil, Russia and the US will travel to Hannover to inspect and test the nominated equipment. Among other things the innovation value, technology, design, ergonomics and handling, safety, marketability and customer benefit as well as economy and sustainability will be evaluated. The jury consists of 29 renowned journalists from leading logistics media in 19 countries.

“A golden rule of the IFOY test series is: The finalists are not compared with each other in their respective categories but with their rival trucks or machines on the market. Only those nominees who outperform their direct competitors in terms of innovation have a chance of winning the trophy,” explains Anita Würmser, chairwoman of the IFOY jury.

The trophies will be awarded on April 26 2019. As the IFOY organisation already announced in 2018 the IFOY AWARD Night will take place for the first time in the Hofburg in the Austrian Capital Vienna. In cooperation with LOGISTIK.Kurier and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce the award ceremony will take place during the gala of the Austrian HERMES Transport.Logistics.Award. More than 600 international guests are expected in the traditional Great Festival Hall in the Hofburg among them leading persons in transport, logistics and intralogistics. Until then the result will remain a secret – for both the finalists and the public.

Scott Johnson Elected Chair of ITA

Scott JohnsonCLARK Material Handling Company (CLARK) is pleased to announce that Scott Johnson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has been elected the new Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Industrial Truck Association (ITA). Scott accepted the gavel from outgoing Chairman Brett Wood of Toyota at ITA’s 34th Annual Meeting held at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, September 13-16, 2017.

“CLARK was instrumental in the formation of the Industrial Truck Association
over 65 years ago,” commented Scott upon accepting this prestigious position.
“For all these years, ITA has been the leading organization in the industrial truck
industry in North America, and has led the way for the formation of sister
organizations in other parts of the world. I am humbled and extremely proud to
support and now lead this organization which has served the forklift industry and
its members so well for so long.”

Scott previously served on ITA’s Statistics Committee and has represented
CLARK on ITA’s Executive Committee for several years. Scott has worked in the
material handling industry for over 20 years. He is also an active member of the
Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA). Scott is an avid
outdoorsman, and a proud alumnus of the University of Kentucky.

At the recent annual celebration for CLARK Material Handling dealerships, Cal-Lift Inc. was honored to be recognized as a CLARK “Dealer of Merit.” This award is reserved for dealerships whose service, parts and sales departments exceed CLARK’s stringent qualifications.
